Joshua M. Doyle, 34, of 165 Union St., Apt. 2, was arrested early Monday by city police on a charge of second-degree criminal contempt.

He is charged in an incident late Thursday, in which police allege he violated stay-away terms of a City Court order of protection by entering the apartment of Ashlee F. Hubbard, 25, at 722 W. Main St.

The court order was issued following his arrest Nov. 15 on charges of second-degree strangulation and harassment. Ms. Hubbard was the alleged victim in that incident.
