The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Junior Indoor Soccer League produced exciting contests this week..

UCLA 5, Duke 2: Jackson Jones and Mitchell McCarthy each scored two goals to help the Bruins get their first win of the year. Duke was led by Tristen lovely and Ryan Warchol with a goal and excellent two-way play from Seth Martel.

Stanford 4, North Carolina 4: Connor Griffith’s three goals in 47 seconds helped the Tar Heels gain a dramatic tie. Noah Wilson and Corbin Durham were solid on defense for NC. Mesean Johnson and Karson LaRose each had two goals for Stanford. Ben Switzer played a great game on defense.

Stanford 7, Duke 1: Stanford’s high powered attack was led by Mesean Johnson’s five goals and single goals from Aubrey love and Ben Switzer. Tristen Lovely scored Duke’s lone goal and Karson LaRose and Gavin Carpenter played solid defense..

North Carolina 2, UCLA 1: Connor Griffith led the way for the North Carolina scoring two goals and Garrett Zulauf was solid in net. UCLA’s Mitchell McCarthy scored for the Bruins who kept it close by great defense from Ian Sovie and Ryan Mitchell.
