Gary S. Dusharm, 42, of 642 Emerson St., Apt. 2, was arrested by Watertown police early Monday morning after he allegedly threw a beer can at a woman, striking her in the face.
He was detained pending arraignment in City Court on charges of felony criminal contempt and harassment.
Police said Christine S. Sinclair, 45, of 194 Cedar St., Apt. 2, suffered scrapes on her chin and neck as a result of the incident at 12:20 a.m. Monday in her apartment. Mr. Dusharms alleged actions violated terms of a Family Court order of protection, police said.
Mr. Dusharm was released Oct. 12 from a sentence in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building which was given in Jefferson County Court for second-degree criminal contempt. Ms. Sinclair was also the victim in that case.
