Watertown police charged Wayne J. Bell II, 26, of 644 Burlington St., with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child at 6:07 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Maywood Terrace.
He is accused of punching Angel Howard, Watertown, several times in her face with a closed fist and damaging several items, worth a total of $275, during a domestic dispute at her residence that morning, police said.
He also is accused of throwing a jewelry box, striking a three-year-old girl in the forehead, according to court documents.
He was held Wednesday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in Watertown City Court.
