Dick Pike edged Mert Haynes 24-48 to 23-48 in top triple while Haynes nipped Pike and Tony Simmons 10-16 to 9-16 for high single in Doug’s Tavern Winter Horseshoe League action on Thursday.

This week play will held on Tuesday because of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Doug’s Tavern has a slim one win lead over Nig’s Tavern in the standings. Nig’s was the top ringers leader with 62.
