Registration for youth winter programs sponsored by the Ogdensburg Parks and Recreation Department will begin Monday, Nov. 19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dobisky Visitors’ Center, 100 Riverside Ave.

Youth must be registered in order to participate.

Winter programs available are as follows:

BIDDY BASKETBALL: This 10-week program, for both boys and girls will begin Dec. 8 and end Feb. 9 and is for youths in grades K-6.

The program is held at Ogdensburg Free Academy.

The schedule is as follows: 8-9 a.m. for youth in grades kindergarten to second; 9-10 a.m. for grades 3-4; and 10-11 a.m. for grades 5-6. Cost is $10.

WRESTLING:This youth program will begin Jan. 8 and take place each Tuesday and Thursday until March 21. (No wrestling will take place during Winter Break Feb. 19 and Feb. 21) This program will go from 6:45-8:15 p.m. at Ogdensburg Free Academy.

The cost per youth is $10.

GYMNASTICS: Introductory gymnastics for youth, ages 4-7 and 8-11 will be held on Saturdays, beginning on Jan. 5 and ending March 9.

Times for those ages 4-7 will be 9-10 a.m. while those 8-11 years of age will participate from 10-11 a.m.

The 10-week program is held at the Kennedy Elementary School A.P.E. gymnasium. Cost is $20 per child.

SUNDAY FAMILY SWIM: This recreation program is held from 1-3 p.m. at Ogdensburg Free Academy’s pool beginning on Jan. 6. The program ends March 10.

This program is free and for the general public. All are welcome to attend.
