City police say a woman apparently took exception to a traffic ticket for having excessive window tint early Tuesday, so she shoved the issuing officer.

Cortney L. Tanner, 19, of 1144 Gill St., additionally was cited with harassment.

Her encounter with Officer Nathan L. McKeever occurred shortly before 1 a.m. in the 100 block of West Lynde Street. Police said she used both hands in pushing the officer.
