A trusty tipstress forwarded me the attached photograph of congressional candidate Matt Doheny cutting an ad in Thompson Park.

He's the one in orange. My source says that they took takes in both the orange jacket and a flannel jacket.

The background of the ad — Watertown's skyline in a somewhat famous park — could help shore up Mr. Doheny's local bona fides.

He faces Rep. Bill Owens, D-Plattsburgh, on Nov. 6.
