Get ready, folks: The environmental dance dance revolution is coming to Glens Falls.
Don Hassig, the Green Party candidate whose frequently cuts a rug during campaign stops, said Tuesday that he will attend a debate scheduled for Sept. 25. The debate is sponsored by the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce.
His opponents are Republican Matt Doheny and Rep. Bill Owens, D-Plattsburgh.
Debate organizers previously had said that Mr. Hassig is invited. Mr. Hassig is leaving the country in mid-October to retrieve camping gear with his brother in Saskatchewan, Canada, so any later debates are probably out of the question.
For good measure, here's a video of Mr. Hassig dancing. Warning: It borders on the dadaist.
