CANTON — The state Department of Transportation will complete milling work in the village in the detour area of the Canton village reconstruction project, which runs from Riverside Drive to State Street and ends at Route 310.

Work will occur next week, during which traffic will be controlled by flaggers and parking will not be permitted along State Street.

Following the milling, paving operations are expected to begin. All work along the route is projected to be completed by June 30.
