Former U.S. Olympic medalists Ian Crocker and Christine Marshall will be part of a swim clinic scheduled for July at Watertown High School.
Crocker, who swam in the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, and Marshall, who swam in the Olympics in 2008, will demonstrate swim strokes and techniques as part of the Mutual of Omaha Breakout! Swim Clinic on July 14.
The four-hour clinic runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and is for ages 8-18. Cost is $60. Both swimmers will be available for autographs and photos after the clinic.
Crocker won three medals in Athens in 2004. He won a gold medal as part of the world-record setting 400-meter relay. He also won silver in the 100 butterfly, getting edged out by teammate Michael Phelps by .04 seconds. He won bronze in the 400 freestyle relay. He also won gold as part of the 400 medley relay in 2000 in Sydney.
Marshall won bronze in 2008 in Beijing as part of the 800 freestyle relay that set an American record.
