Lisa Weber, the CEO of Timeless Frames, will host a fundraiser for state Sen. Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, on April 27.

The invitation started going out this week. Prices range from $150 to $500 for "gold" sponsors.

Mrs. Ritchie's GOP conference, hoping to maintain its narrow edge in the upper chamber, has a wide fundraising edge over its Democratic counterparts. Mrs. Ritchie herself hasn't exactly been a gangbusters fundraiser, but that's just the way things are in the north country, which lacks a deep donation base.

Amy Tresidder, an Oswego County legislator, is considering running against Mrs. Ritchie in the Nov. 6 election.
