North Country Public Radio is broadcasting a story today that details the closure of the Watertown Daily Times' Washington bureau.

"We've known for awhile that at some point that we'd have to pull the plug and actually taking the action was very difficult," Times executive editor Bert Gault told North Country Public Radio.
