The top-seeded Shamrocks (17-3) scored the final 11 points of the game over the final 5 minutes, 47 seconds, to knock off No. 2 Canton and advance to the state tournament.
Salmon River beat Canton (10-10) twice in the regular season, but had trouble shaking the Golden Bears in the championship game. Every time Salmon River built a margin of six or seven points, Canton would come down and hit a 3-point basket and cut the deficit.
Abby Kelly paced the Shamrocks with 27 points, including eight in the fourth quarter.
