Jefferson Community men's basketball player Jabriel Blue was named the school's athlete of the week for the week ending Feb. 5.

Blue, a sophomore guard, averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds for the week as JCC moved into a first-place tie in the Mid State Athletic Conference.

Blue is majoring in criminal justice.
