A bit later, I'll have an analysis of Republican Matt Doheny's first fundraising haul in his effort to unseat Rep. Bill Owens, D-Plattsburgh.
But for now, here's part three (I think) in an ongoing series about Mr. Doheny's own political donations.
They're continuing full speed ahead. As I've written before, Mr. Doheny has been very generous to like-minded candidates in upstate New York — even those just outside of his district.
Here are some of Mr. Doheny's donations:
$1,200 on July 11 to Friends of Patricia Ritchie, the campaign committee for the Republican senator of Heuvelton.
$1,000 on Jan. 4 to the campaign committee of Joanie Mahoney, the Onondaga County executive.
Two donations totaling $10,750 to the New York State Senate Republican Campaign committee, one in August, the other in December.
$1,000 on Dec. 1 to the Lewis County Republican Committee.
$1,000 in August to Finger Lakes Republican Sen. Mike Nozzolio's campaign committee. Mr. Nozzolio has been in the news lately as the Senate co-chair of LATFOR, which just released lines for state districts and will, in March, release congressional lines.
There's plenty more to be found, and at some point, we'll have a full analysis of the donations.
