Defenseman Bryan Rufenach had a four-goal game for Toledo, and has recently been called up to the Grand Rapids franchise of the American Hockey League

Scott Freeman scored a goal in a special game for Bakersfield which resulted in thousands of Teddy Bear's being tossed onto the ice.
