Jefferson Community College placed eight athletes on the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 3 academic all-region team, the school announced.

Two members of the JCC baseball team, Brandon Cavalet of Evans Mills and Nolan Bodah of Watertown, made the academic squad, which honors athletes with a 3.5 grade-point average or above.

Among other May graduates, men’s soccer player Joshua Lothrop of Chaumont; women’s soccer player Teddi Filiatrault of Antwerp; volleyball player Kaelee McCormick of Watertown; and women’s basketball player Hannah Curinga of Adams were honored.

Two incoming sophomores, softball player Heather McManus of Boonville, and women’s lacrosse player Jillian Young of Watertown also made the team.
