St. John Fisher junior pitcher Josh Cox, a Watertown High School graduate, made the Empire 8 all-conference baseball team as an honorable mention pick.

Cox, who also pitched for Jefferson Community College, went 5-2 on the mound in his first season at Fisher. He struck out 52 in 42 innings, starting nine games and completing one.

The Cardinals finished 25-10 and won the Empire 8 for the second straight season.
