Canton native Kyle Flanagan will serve as a co-captain during his junior season for the St. Lawrence University men's hockey team.

Flanagan finished second on the team in scoring as a sophomore. He will co-captain the 2011-12 season with Jacob Drewiske, who served as an assistant captain this season.

Defenseman George Hughes was voted an assistant captain, a role traditionally given to a junior.
