Potsdam native Jerry Coleman earned his second straight Liberty League performer of the week award for his play on Clarkson University’s baseball team.
Coleman batted .500 with six runs scored and four RBIs in four games last week. He’s batting .560 on the season with a .720 slugging percentage. He leads the Golden Knights with 14 hits through the team’s first eight games.
Katie VanDeValk won the Liberty League performer of the week for Clarkson’s women’s lacrosse team. She had eight goals in a 19-10 victory over Kean University last Monday.
