Aubrey Kettrick set a school record in the 200-yard freestyle and anchored two relays which set school marks for Niagara University at the ECAC Championships last weekend at University of Pittsburgh.
The 2009 Watertown High School graduate clocked a time of 1 minute, 55.30 seconds in the 200 free. She was the only female swimmer from Niagara to participate in a final round for the event and placed 16th.
Kettrick joined Julia Bulmahn, Erica Crane and Lindsey Jackson for a school-record time of 4:00.00 in the 400 medley relay. In the 800 free relay, Ashley Harrington, Emily Kisloski, Jackson and Kettrick finished in 7:53.87 to reset their own school record. Kettrick is now a part of all five relay records at Niagara.
Kettrick, who was named a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference scholar athlete this season, is a sophomore studying Sport Management. She is the daughter of Jim and Marcia Kettrick of Watertown.
