Clarkson is preparing to host its first home ECAC Hockey playoff series since the 2008 season.
The Golden Knights, who are the No. 7 seed, will face No. 10 Harvard in a best-of-three series that starts at 7 p.m. Friday at Cheel Arena. Game two will also begin at 7 p.m., on Saturday, and if there is a game three it will be played at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Clarkson split with the Crimson during the regular season, winning at Cheel Arena and losing last Friday in Boston.
One surprise at Wednesday's practice was seeing senior Scott Freeman go out to skate. Freeman suffered a knee injury two weeks ago against RPI and was expected to be out at least a month. Freeman still is probably not expected to play this weekend, however.
Clarkson coach George Roll discussed what to expect this weekend as well as the solid play of senior defenseman Tom Pizzo over the past month:
Pizzo also spoke of how happy he is with the way he is ending his career:
Freshman Ben Sexton has played in four games since breaking his arm during the first conference game against Colgate. He spoke about his recovery and how it feels to be 100 percent for the playoffs:
And this week's last video is a drill from early in Wednesday's practice session:
