Third period impressions:

Goal Brown They answer right back with a score from the slot.

Goal SLU Bogo scores.

SLU on the PP.

The line of Flanagan/Bogosian/Carey is -4 tonight.

Second period imperssions:

Things didn't get much better for the Saints in the second. Robby Moss was pulled for Weninger with 12 minutes left in the period and he kept the Bears off the board.

The energy just isn't there tonight and I'm sure Marsh will say that in the post game tonight. Again, not sure if this lack of energy is from getting too emotional from yesterday, but that game sure was draining. It's a totally different team today.

Second Period notes:

Saints fail to score on the power play but get another one right away.

Saints go on the PP.

Marsh called a time out and tipped into his team. He is not happy with this effort.

Vangog hits the pipe and now Moss is pulled for Weninger.

Goal Brown Off a bad shift change, Brown gets an easy goal. Not good at all.

Goal Brown Awesome shot from just outside the faceoff dot by Hourihan.

Brown comes out on fire again. St. Lawrence unable to get any zone time tonight.

First period impressions

St. Lawrence was dominated almost the entire period. You have to wonder if last night's emotional win is playing a part in this first period. It was not good.

Brown outshot the Saints 14-8 in the first period. Moss made 12 stops. The two goals, no one could have stopped. St. Lawrence was outplayed the entire first period.

First period notes:

Carey nearly kills a Brown player with a hard shot but no goal on the power play.

Brown penalty for tripping.

GOAL Brown Nice passing left Chris Zaires open in the crease. Moss had no chance.

This has not been a great period for SLU.

Carey had a nice look, but didn't get it through Clemente.

SLU isn't controlling much in this game early on. Brown is getting a ton of zone time.

Brown and SLU doing a lot of extracurriculars.

Saints kill the penalty.

Essery to the box. Hit the goalie with his stick.

Brown nearly scores again, but a nice save from Moss.

Saints clearly sluggish to start. Maybe a little drained from last night?

GOAL Brown 46 seconds into the game on a broken SLU play that resulted in a 2-on-1 rush.

Here we go.
