The Golden Knights had another rough first period at home Friday night and wound up losing 3-2 to Quinnipiac before 1,962 fan in an ECAC Hockey game at Cheel Arena.
The Bobcats (13-10-3 overall, 6-6-2 conference) scored two goals in the first period, both from Jeremy Langlois, and outshot Clarkson 12-3.
Clarkson (12-10-2, 6-5-1) did not have its first solid scoring chance until about four minutes into the second period. The Golden Knights did score two power-play goals on shots from Andrew Himelson and Louke Oakley.
Here is some footage from the second period, ending with a penalty on Quinnipiac's Mike Dalhuisen at 13:19. That would lead to the power play in which Himelson scored.
