Clarkson (12-9-2 overall, 6-4-1 ECAC Hockey) will play its first conference home games this weekend since defeating St. Lawrence University 3-1 on Nov. 20.

Coming to Potsdam is Quinnipiac (12-10-3, 5-6-2) and 20th-ranked Princeton (11-6-1, 7-4-1). Clarkson has played its last six conference games on the road, and started that stretch by defeating both of these teams by 5-3 scores back on Dec. 3-4.

The Golden Knights will play six of their remaining 11 conference games at home, and one of the road games will be a 10-mile drive to Canton to face SLU in Appleton Arena.

Quinnipiac, which plays Clarkson at 7 p.m. Friday, has gone 5-2-2 since it last to Clarkson on Dec. 4. The Bobcats most recent game was a 4-2 victory over the U.S. Under-18 team in an exhibition last Saturday.

Princeton has not played the past two weekends. The Tigers last games were on Jan. 7-9, losing 2-1 to Cornell on the 7th and then defeating Colgate 5-4 on the 9th.

Stat of the Night:

vs. Quinnipiac:Scoring first will be important. Clarkson is 2-9 when the opposition scores first and Quinnipiac is 1-9-1 in the same situation.

vs. Princeton:There's a good chance to see a shorthanded goal in this game. Clarkson has scored six so far this season and the Tigers have five.

Clarkson had a 2-0 lead after one period with goals from Allan McPherson and Bryan Rufenach. Quinnipiac tied the game 2-2 early in the third period before DeFazio proceeded to score three of the next four goals in the game.

Clarkson vs. Princeton:Paul Karpowich made 39 saves to help Clarkson to a 5-3 win on Dec. 3 in Princeton, N.J. Nik Pokulok, Adam Pawlick, Corey Tamblyn, Matt Zarbo and Scott Freeman scored for the Golden Knights. This was one of two games Clarkson has won this season when it did not score first, as Pokulok answered Princeton's opening goal with a goal just 13 seconds later.
