Former Clarkson defenseman Grant Clitsome was called up to the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Falcons, on Sunday.
It's the second NHL stint for Clitsome, who appeared in 11 games last year, scoring one goal and picking up two assists.
Here's a conversation with Clitsome about last year's NHL experience from Clarkson's annual alumni golf tournament last July:

While Clitsome was moving up, former Hobey Baker finalist Todd White was moving down to the AHL as the New York Rangers assigned him to the Connecticut Whale. White has been on waivers several times this season and it appears his NHL future is in jeopardy.
A pair of other Golden Knights, Craig Conroy and Todd Marchant, are not having productive years and this could possibly be their final NHL seasons as well.
Other News and Notes
Defenseman Willie Mitchell has suffered a few injuries this season, his first with the Los Angeles Kings, and has played in only 17 games. He returned to the team last weekend after missing 11 games with a knee injury.
Chris Blight had a brief call-up to the AHL but has returned to Reading of the ECHL. Shea Guthrie is currently without a team after being released by Florida of the ECHL. After beginning the season without a team, Jay Latulippe has returned to Great Britain and is playing for Dundee.
Videos+
We begin with two Erik Cole videos. He scored the game-winning goal in a win over the Atlanta Thrashers on Sunday and here are his postgame remarks:

Also, a video showing how Erik tapes his stick (this appears to have been made during his time with Edmonton):

On the lighter side, here is Todd Marchant's son, Tim, interviewing some of the Anaheim Ducks:

Nick Dodge joined a few of his Charlotte Checkers teammates for a tour of NASCAR's new Hall of Fame:
