FRISCO, Texas — Former General Brown football player Justin Johnson will cap off his collegiate career with an appearance Friday in the Football Championship Subdivision title game.
Johnson, a fifth-year senior, is a defensive lineman for the University of Delaware (12-2), which left the Newark, Del., campus Tuesday morning for Frisco, Texas, where it will play Eastern Washington (12-2) in the FCS (formerly Division I-AA) final.
Johnson has played in all 14 games for the Blue Hens and has 18 tackles after winning the starting spot in the preseason.
Johnson, 6-foot-4, 285 pounds, has moved between offensive line and defensive line throughout his career at Delaware, which began in 2006 as a true freshman.
