St. Lawrence freshman netminder Matt Weninger has earned the ECAC Rookie of the Week award for his play against UNH.

The Saints upset the No. 2 Wildcats, 2-1, on Friday. Weninger made 32 stops, including 15 in the third period.

To those wondering, Aaron Bogosian was not selected, in part, due to Sacred Heart's game counting toward the week of Jan. 3-9. He scored only one goal for the week ending Jan. 2.
